Angelina Jolie's Brad charity pressure

Angelina Jolie wants Brad Pitt to sell his art collection and donate the money to charity.

The 'Changeling' actress, who has six children with Brad, doesn't share her lover's taste in art and has reportedly delivered an ultimatum to convince Brad to get rid of the pieces.

A source said: "Angelina hit the roof recently when Brad had another piece of art delivered to their home in Los Angeles. She wasn't happy. Angelina wants Brad to sell his art collection and give the money to charity. She says there are so many people who don't have the basic necessities, so collecting expensive baubles feels extravagant and selfish to her."

Brad, who has spent millions on his collection, has decorated their Los Angeles home with rare paintings, sculptures and furniture from all over the world.

The source added: "Angelina believes in supporting the arts, but she doesn't believe that people should be living with priceless objects. She wants to scale back on their possessions and lead a simple life."

Angelina Jolie: It's All About the Kids

Given the fact that Angelina Jolie is more often than not spotted with at least a few of her and Brad Pitt's six children in tow, it certainly comes as no surprise where her priorities lie.

"The center of my life is my kids," the Oscar winner tells the Los Angeles Times.

But she's quick to point out that it's not always easy having such a big brood.

"I woke up at 3 in the morning with four kids with jet lag and two babies," she says, recalling a recent trip to Hollywood. "I put myself together for a few hours and go out. And then I go home. This is my job."

Not that she's complaining, mind you.

"I don't dislike it here," insists the globe-trotter, referring to Tinseltown. "I just really do love to travel. I love other cultures. And I love raising my kids in the world. I'm so fortunate that I get to do that."

In an interview with BBC, the 33-year-old star said has grown tired of juggling life in the limelight with her role as a mum-of-six.

"I don’t plan to keep acting very long. I’m ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day," she said.

Jolie and her partner actor Brad Pitt have emerged as a Hollywood power couple, and together they have three biological children and three adopted children.

Angelina Jolie "Wanted" to die

Angelina Jolie did not want to ride off into the sunset. At least, not when it came to portraying a sexed-up super assassin in the summer action hit "Wanted."

The Oscar-winning actress now says that she accepted the role of the sleek killer named Fox only after the filmmaker agreed to a crucial script revision: She didn't want her character still breathing when the final credits rolled. It was a major change from the story in the graphic novel of the same name but, as anyone familiar with both already knows, there were plenty of huge differences between Mark Millar's dark comic-book tale and the Hollywood adaptation.

"In the original, she doesn’t kill herself," Jolie said. "I actually changed the ending. I said, ‘If she was to find out she had killed people unjustly and was a part of something that wasn't fair, then she should take her own life.'"

Wanted

In a penthouse suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last week, during a conversation about her latest drama "The Changeling," Jolie got to talking about what had drawn her to the role of Fox, a member of a 1,000-year-old secret society that murders people who are destined to cause some unspecified tragedy in the future.

"I liked ‘Wanted’ because I liked the idea that she was somebody who believed she was delivering justice to bad people," Jolie said. “For instance, if you knew Hitler was coming and you could take him out, would you? I liked that."

"Wanted" director Timur Bekmambetov failed to mention the Jolie-requested ending when I interviewed him last summer. Jolie told me that she frames her choices to appear in bombastic popcorn thrillers like the "Tomb Raider" franchise and "Wanted" as a method of counter-balancing her more somber films.

"First of all, let’s not over-think it," Jolie said, her back to a panoramic view of the city’s glittering nighttime horizon. "It's an action movie. As much as I love to be home with my kids, it gives me an excuse to go out and by physical. To do different things. Too many films like 'The Changeling' or ‘A Mighty Heart’ and it takes a toll after a while. They’re so emotional!"

Report: Angelina Jolie's Breast Feeding Pics Upset Brad Pitt's Parents

Brad Pitt took a series of arty black-and-white photos for the Novembre issue of the fashion and culture magazine W. Now Star Magazine is reporting that Brad Pitt's parents, Bill and Jane Pitt, are upset with the published pics.

"Brad's dad won't talk about it — that means he's upset," the magazine reports. "Brad's mom feels they're using their children as a marketing campaign tool and thinks it's unacceptable."
