Angelina Jolie "Wanted" to die

Angelina Jolie did not want to ride off into the sunset. At least, not when it came to portraying a sexed-up super assassin in the summer action hit "Wanted."

The Oscar-winning actress now says that she accepted the role of the sleek killer named Fox only after the filmmaker agreed to a crucial script revision: She didn't want her character still breathing when the final credits rolled. It was a major change from the story in the graphic novel of the same name but, as anyone familiar with both already knows, there were plenty of huge differences between Mark Millar's dark comic-book tale and the Hollywood adaptation.

"In the original, she doesn’t kill herself," Jolie said. "I actually changed the ending. I said, ‘If she was to find out she had killed people unjustly and was a part of something that wasn't fair, then she should take her own life.'"

Wanted

In a penthouse suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last week, during a conversation about her latest drama "The Changeling," Jolie got to talking about what had drawn her to the role of Fox, a member of a 1,000-year-old secret society that murders people who are destined to cause some unspecified tragedy in the future.

"I liked ‘Wanted’ because I liked the idea that she was somebody who believed she was delivering justice to bad people," Jolie said. “For instance, if you knew Hitler was coming and you could take him out, would you? I liked that."

"Wanted" director Timur Bekmambetov failed to mention the Jolie-requested ending when I interviewed him last summer. Jolie told me that she frames her choices to appear in bombastic popcorn thrillers like the "Tomb Raider" franchise and "Wanted" as a method of counter-balancing her more somber films.

"First of all, let’s not over-think it," Jolie said, her back to a panoramic view of the city’s glittering nighttime horizon. "It's an action movie. As much as I love to be home with my kids, it gives me an excuse to go out and by physical. To do different things. Too many films like 'The Changeling' or ‘A Mighty Heart’ and it takes a toll after a while. They’re so emotional!"

Report: Angelina Jolie's Breast Feeding Pics Upset Brad Pitt's Parents

Brad Pitt took a series of arty black-and-white photos for the Novembre issue of the fashion and culture magazine W. Now Star Magazine is reporting that Brad Pitt's parents, Bill and Jane Pitt, are upset with the published pics.

"Brad's dad won't talk about it — that means he's upset," the magazine reports. "Brad's mom feels they're using their children as a marketing campaign tool and thinks it's unacceptable."

Angelina Jolie Would Quit Acting For Her Kids

Angelina Jolie says her days of seeking out the perfect movie role are long gone and she would gladly leave it all behind for her family.

The Changeling star – who recently emerged from four months hibernation with twins Vivienne and Knox – reveals that motherhood has changed her priorities.

She tells the New York Times, "As long as I can be with my family, it's fun.

"But I only want to do that, and I'm not looking for anything else.”

She adds, “How can I be sure that I don't do too long hours? Can the three youngest be on set every day?"

The actress also confessed that she fell for partner Brad Pitt on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

Jolie: 'I Live With My Favorite People In The World'

REUTERS/Lucas Jackson (UNITED STATES)

Angelina Jolie considers partner Brad Pitt her best friend -- and feels blessed to have six children with him.

Jolie has three adopted kids and three biological tots -- including twins, born earlier this year-- with the actor.

And the 33-year-old reveals that newborns Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline are developing features and personalities reminiscent of their famous parents.

She tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "It's so much fun but it's very hard work.

The kids are forming beautiful friendships. They're teammates and they're very loving to the babies.

"The twins are just the sweetest little things. They lay next to each other.

They're starting to smile a lot. Knox looks like Brad and Vivienne looks more like me. They are developing interesting personalities. Knox seems more relaxed and Vivienne is more loud."

And the actress feels lucky to have her extended brood, and relishes the time she spends in their company.

She adds: "I feel so blessed that every day I wake up and I live with my favorite people in the world and my best friend."

Angelina Jolie Struggling To Cope With Twins

Angelina Jolie is reportedly feeling the strain following the birth of twins Know & Vivienne. Whilst partner Brad Pitt is described as a “punch-drunk, happy-tired” new daddy, the actress is said to be finding the two new additions to the ever-expanding Jolie-Pitt clan harder to handle. “(The family’s French home is) frantic and messy. There are toys and clothes strewn in practically every room,” a source tells In Touch. But it’s “feeding the twins on demand” that is really taking it's toll, according to insiders.

“Angie is tired all the time,” says another source. “Knox wakes up, and (she) will spend an hour feeding and then changing him, and then Viv wakes up as Knox is going to sleep.
“Then, by the time Angelina has fed and changed Viv, she has about 10 minutes to sleep before it all starts over again.” Despite being completely worn out, the source adds that Angelina "wouldn’t trade being a mother for anything else in the world.”

Angelina Jolie set to play Catwoman

ANGELINA Jolie is reportedly being lined up to star as Batman's nemesis Catwoman in a new movie. The 33-year-old actress – who gave birth to twins Knox and Vivienne earlier this month – is said to be in final negotiations with studio bosses to play the feline villain who first appeared in the Batman comics. It is not clear whether she would play the role in the current Batman film series, starring Christian Bale as the caped crusader, or in a spin-off film as Halle Berry did in 2004's Catwoman.

Actress Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the Batman TV series from 1966 to 1967, has given her blessing for Jolie to play the part.
"Angelina would own the part," Newmar, now 74, said. "My industry friends tell me she has already made enquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love. "She is tremendously popular with women because she's both a heroine and a villainess." Other actresses to take on the role of Catwoman include Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992 movie Batman Returns, and Eartha Kitt who took over from Newmar in the TV series. Jolie was recently tipped to be starring in The Thomas Crown Affair 2 alongside Pierce Brosnan and has reportedly been ordered by studio bosses to put on weight for the role.

Van Carrying Angelina Jolie Twins From Hospital A Pizza Delivery - Cruel Hoax!

The media were cruelly hoaxed by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on Saturday morning, when a white van allegedly carrying the twins away from the Nice Lenval Hospital turned out to be a local pizza delivery vehicle. An eyewitness explained, "The van had a huge neon sign on its roof flashing the words 'Angelina, Brad and Twins inside'. Naturally, the paparazzi and film crews took chase. There must have been a good half mile tailback."

After about a mile, the van stopped outside a house in the Nice Suburbs. "The bandwagon screeched to a halt," continued the witness. "Cameras started flashing; reporters and film crew set up; it was pandemonium."
Unknown to the media circus, out stepped 22-year-old Nicolas Duval, a 'Luigi's' pizza delivery man, with an order of 12" deep pan Hawaiian; fries; coleslaw; and two cokes. "The man seemed most puzzled by all the attention," continued the witness. "He began posing for shots and even took off his white delivery uniform, so the paparazzi could get pictures of an impressive hairy chest."

Meanwhile, Angelina and Brad were having a good laugh back at the hospital via a minicam placed on the neon light.
"The flashing words suddenly changed to "Gotcha!" along with a smiley face. I don't think the media were best pleased." A spokesman from the Lenval Hospital later said, "Angelina and Brad are planning to stay for some time. They like it here; they love the food; and get on well with doctors and staff. They may even buy the hospital and live here. Negotiations are presently under way." Adding, "Oh, and the twins are doing just fine too." This event brings back memories of the infamous Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes hoax, when the couple fooled the media into believing they were Irish leprechauns.
